Battle of the Sexes Cookoff Update

Congratulations to the ladies of the Rumor Mill kitchen - aka the "Salt" team - for winning overall menu in the Battle of the Sexes last weekend!  Team Salt also took the favorite individual dish category with their shrimp and bay scallop pairing.  All was not lost for the men's Team Pepper, though; they won the voting for most creative dish with their rockfish-and-bison interpretation of surf and turf. 

Thanks to all of our guest judges; you sampled over 200 orders of the competing dishes throughout the weekend!  We couldn't do it without you.  If you have an idea for a future cookoff theme, please send it to us or mention it next time you come in.  Our chefs are always up for a challenge.

Ice Cream Contest Winners!

We had so many delicious entries in our ice cream contest that we couldn't choose just one.  So we chose four!

Best fruit flavor: blueberry lemon

Best use of a spice or herb: lavender pistachio

Best interpretation of a dessert classic: cream cheese ice cream with brownies and chocolate chips

Most unusual flavor combination: sweet corn with salted caramel and Fisher's Popcorn

All our winners will receive $25 gift certificates and credit for their flavors when they run this summer!
